Preemie Project

Project Detail

Our Preemie Project is a great way for knitters to show their compassion and help premature infants and their families.

We have a few wonderfully kind-hearted women who crochet tiny beanies and soft toys, such as octopuses, for the preemie babies that are being taken care of in the George Hospital. This project lies very close to our Heavenly Haven heart and we encourage more people to get involved.

Challenge

Taking care of a prematurely born baby is challenging enough. Having to deal with financial struggles while raising a baby is a very difficult struggle that so many young mothers face. These mothers and their babies are in desperate need of help from their communities. Support in the form of items for their baby and emotional

Idea

 With the help of volunteers, we aim to provide comfort and support to premature babies and their families.
