At our soup kitchen, we serve hot meals with lots of love. Become a part of our volunteering team at our soup kitchen!
The need for food within our community is a growing concern. With the soup kitchen, we aim to provide food to the young children in the informal settlement in Great Brak over weekends to help keep their tummies full. During the week, they are fed at school, but the weekends remain an ongoing problem. Heavenly Haven helps out by providing food and making sure the children sit down and finish their meals before they head home. Once again, we’re solely dependent on food donations from the public and urge everyone who is in a position to donate ingredients, bowls and other equipment our soup kitchen require, to please do so.
Challenge
Our NPO runs a soup kitchen that feeds approximately 250 needy people. We need your help, please donate non perishable food items. This will go a long way in providing a warm meal to the less fortunate.
Idea
Soup Kitchens have become an integral part of our communities as the need for food has grown tremendously. We wish to feed as many as possible tummies with a warm, wholesome meal.
